For a 'beginner' as you call yourself, I would say there are some very good welds and close to penetrating through, in my opinion they would hold anything you welded, there is one or two that is sitting on the top, was that a different setting?
They were lower settings, I've only had a couple hours practice using thin steel(holes galore) but after reading a few posts decided to get some thicker steel much easier to practice on. Thanks for the reply! Is it normal for all the brown around the weld ? There's quite a bit.
If it is sooty deposit then it's usually a sign of lack of sheilding gas, 10lpm is about the norm if your regulator is accurate, I had the same and found any setting less than 12 caused it
