Bench top surface grinder

Hi all,

We are in need of something like this for the workshop to grind small samples (only 10 x 10 x 55mm), it will only get light use and we don’t have much spare space so I thought a table top version would be ideal. The other floor standing options are a bit big for what we need.
Any other suggestions greatly appreciated

I realise that space is limited, but I'd prefer a used machine. Here's an example that popped up in my feed today

You will also need a diamond nib wheel dresser attachment.

I’m guessing it’s to prep test pieces for polishing etc so accuracy is irrelevant

I can see there’s no provision for wheel balancing and it looks like a standard off hand grinding wheel

The trick will be to dress the stone with a fast movement to get a open grain so you avoid burning the job.

Yes it’s for impact test specimens, so the surface finish is very important, as are the dimensions (needs to be 10x10mm +/- 0.25mm, so have a bit of tolerance).
I think as long as it’s set up well and we run a sacrificial before each use it would be ok
