Bernzomatic Set

Hi all,

I have a Bernzomatic gas brazing set which I have had for a while. I now need to replace the gas bottles and although I can get the OxyTurbo Oxygen cylinders I would appreciate info on which gas to get for the other bottle. I have looked online but there is so much info on different gases I am now even more confused!

I have attached pictures of the two bottles:

Far as I recall, the main options for those sets are either propane or MAPP gas. MAPP is supposedly slightly higher temperature than propane.

I have a Bernzomatic but both connectors are the larger size. I'm blue in the face trying to find replacement bottles, they are all the smaller size.

Shame, as it was a handy little set for heating things up.

the blue one above is -just a standard disposable bottle available from most places

So can I use the Mapp or Maxy gas bottles to fit the larger regulator, and any recommendations for retailers?

any plumbers or builders -merchants or screwfix .take the reg with u make sure it fits before u buy
