looking to stock up on longer (220mm+) recip saw blades for cutting metal.
normally just use the cheap bosch blades from screwfix, think they are 150mm.
having a look for longer ones and ive seen the 225mm version of the blades i have for about 15 quid per pack of 5, or the sawzall 'torch' carbide teeth blade at 25 quid each, and a starrett bi-metal blade plus a few others.
anyone got any opinion on the 'best' blade for longevity, mostly cutting box section, tube and occasionally some 6-8mm flat bar, pallets with nails in them and generally harvesting useable parts off scrap cars.
price doesnt bother me, if the 25 quid blade is the best then ill buy a few, but dont want to spend for no reason
