Best Glass

Could anyone let me know what they feel is the best quality replacement glass for clarity and where I can get it? I'm looking for shades from 8-11.

I'm looking for photography purposes rather than actual welding.

Oh I should mention it needs to be at least 4 x 3 inches

Not sure about the lenses as I don't use them, but for photography/film I believe you need much lower shades

I would think anything shade 8 to 11 will be way to dark.. its hard enough to see through them with the naked eye, let alone a camera.

Would you be wishing to take pictures of the sun by any chance ? If so, you'll need shade 13 or 14 for that.

As for quality, they are all much of a muchness nowadays, so clarity will be the same whoever you get them from.
