hi folks since joining at the start of the year i have realised i hadn't done an introduction , i am a welder from dumfries , scotland the company i work for specialises in making equipment for the fire service ,i mostly tig weld with a bit of mig welding thrown in too , not as knowledgeable on theory side of welding as i would like to be but hopefully with the help of this site and it's members that will change , i do a bit of metalwork as a hobby too i posted some pics in a album check them out if you like , so thanks for looking and i hope we can all get along.

thanks mad , the work we do can sometimes be repetitive at times but considering it's for the fire brigade they can sometimes ask for some interesting gear too.

hi chunko , yeah i am always bothering something lol.
got a set of gates to make once the frames get made its just gonna be a case of what
takes my fancy to go in them,a lot of times i haven't got a specific design in mind ,
the tree for example was when i first got my oxy-propane bottles and wanted to have a go at twisting some 10mm rod and ended up with a tree .
