Sparkey, if you have any of those old cast metal style single tractor seats lying around, you can make a quality high/bar/breakfast bar seats. They are very desirable objects in creative metal art circles, in fact, any odd or not so odd metal objects are, they can turn into amazing works of art. I've witnessed some of their work go for really funny money!!

Very nice Paul!! shame we don't have 1 or 2 of them lying around at our farm, but i'll keep an eye out!!! it's really amazing the stuff you see lying around at those old french farms!!! those old french farmers seem to keep ALL their scrap....
As for the bar seats i'd go for a bit more creative on the legs...but yours are still very nice, Paul!!! (errr...the seats i mean

These were actually for a customer of mine, it was one of those jobs that you have to "lose" and do for nothing, if I had made them for my self they would have been made from stainless steel, with some nice curves, these cast seats fetch up to £100 at steam rallys, By the way my wife says my legs are still very nice

Nice bird Sam.
As everyone has said it is amazing what can be made out of scrap, mine was made to keep the heron's from eating the fish in the pond, did not work. Made from scrap stainless tube. Should not have used galv chain, plain chain would have rusted and looked much better.
