Bird table

The wife has been going on and on about getting a bird table but couldn't make up here mind what to get.
So while on lockdown I've been sorting out my sheds and garage of things I'd horded over the years and decided as a laugh I would weld some of it together into a bird table.
To my surprise she absolutely loved it! What's going on. Thought I best share the pictures and get a honest opinion.

Cool idea. I made one last year, but forgot to bring it with us when we moved house last month. I was determined to use nothing but hat I had laying around the garage.

It started as a single storey, but looked a bit stumpy, so I went large.

I thought that once I'd done it but I've only tacked them on so I can easily change it once I get more old blades.

The pictures are pretty deceiving as garden is on a slope but the table is over 5ft tall. The base is an old brake disc and the uprights and hoops were some old coconut shy stands my son's school where throwing out

Tech question, I have a couple of BIG saw blades and wondered if it's possible to heat them up and bend them to form a ridge roof rather than cutting and welding them ? Also, if you leave stuff to rust naturally, what's best thing to coat them with once they've got to the look you want.

Hi thanks. With regards to the blades I had hoped to just fold them but when I put them in the folder they snapped. So I ended up snapping them all.
I'm not too sure on what you can cover the rust with to keep it as you require. Maybe a clear lacquer. Best to ask under the paint section and hopefully someone may know.
