Blast cabinet dust extraction with a venturi

Seems to work well enough. It's not the final evolution, I'll be putting the smooth tube on the elbow and the flexi out of the door, this will give slightly more suction. 1/4" supply from a barely cracked open 1/4 turn valve at 90 psi though a 75mm long tube from an old blowgun.

For those that are interested that's a Lister 8hp driving, IIRC, a 5KVA single phase generator. Not yet working again but it's on the list of things to do this year.

Do you just blow the dust out of the door or is there a filter? I'm using a hoover at the moment with an old dyson cyclone as a pre hoover filter to catch most of the dust and save clogging the bag every 5 mins. It works ok but more air flow would be good.

The dust just goes out of the door. There's usually enough of a prevailing zephyr to blow it over to Skye. Once I decide where the cabinet is finally going I'll drill a hole through the wall.

I just blow the dust outside on mine its sucked out of cabinet with a 4inch woodchipper fan .it can pull more air out than the 28cfm comp can pump in from blast hose
