Blast cabinet integrated blast pot

I'm in the process of rigging up my Guyson cabinet which has a suction fed gun setup.

Reading up suggests a blast pot setup would be more effective. I stumbled across this setup which I could fit to my cabinet with relative ease, but I'm confused with how it functions, particularly the solenoid valve setup. What does it do?

Also, how is it isolated from the cabinet when in use (i.e how does it hold the pressure in the pot)?

Seems cheap compared to some setups north of 1k, hence the attraction.

better off making your own or buy a cheap pot and modify it

Did think about it, but I was hoping to figure out what that control bit did, then I could work back from that.

Saying that, a separate pot might be easier.

that one fits under the hopper of the cabinet and has a popup valve fitted the spent grit just drops in to the the pot when depressurised but wont be sieved out before reuse . heres mine i just poke the blast hose through the glove hole
