Blast media for bench blast cabinet

Got a small Clarke blast cabinet off eBay to help with the restoration of my car. I'll be using the air supply air work,so no worries about the air consumption.
Most of the parts I'd like to restore first are aluminium with either just a dull dirty finish or light corrosion which I'd like to get a new 'as cast ' finish once again. So can anyone suggest what media would be best and what pressure I should start with ?
I've read that glass bed is best for this and that the larger the media the more brighter and original the finish, does that sound correct or would you suggest something else ?

I use medium glass bead and it comes out with a matt finish that polishes up easily. Does look like cast after being blasted.

I use 70PSI on my siphon gun. Have gone as low as 40 and has high as 90. The tip size makes a big difference on the amount of air it uses.

heres some parts ive cleaned using fine abrasive media silica free blasting sand then beadblasted

Found this on a forum I use. This guys pictures of his throttle bodies are exactly what I have and the in the same 'before' condition and his result is what I'd like on all my aluminium parts. Sadly he doesn't say anything other than it was glass bead, so was unsure if to go for larger bead glass and what pressure to use. Will have to find some scrap bits and play about.

fine beads are the best at 90psi. if u use larger beads its like firing peas out of a peashooter and can put fine dimples in material. heres the finish using fine beads
