Blast Pot Not Working At Low Pressure 5 psi

My pressure pot has a range of 65-125 psi.
If I pressurize the pot to 40 psi it work fine I think it also ran at 20 psi. However if I try to pressurize the pot to 5 psi I can hear air going into the pot but no grit flows. Why is this, can I modify the pot in anyway so will work at 5 psi?

5psi is a gentle draught, if the pot is 65 psi minimum why would you run it at less ?

What is it that you are trying to achieve?

You could get a handful of grit and throw it at whatever you are blasting.
It will have a similar effect.

if your wanting to go low as to not blast things to bits and damage them use a suction gun and u can run them at a high pressure as the media isn't coming out under pressure a pressure pot is nowhere near efficient under 50 psi and probably useless

you might get a bit rattling its way down the pipe and drop of the end of the blast nozzle but thats it use a suction gun and increase the pressure
