If the bottom grit outlet gets blocked you can close this valve to unblock it. The blockage will most likely find its way to the nozzle then.
When the time comes to disconnect that hose, fit it the other way round, having the swivel connector at the bottom makes ir easier to remove the mixer.
here it is.the air supply in from water seperator travels down past the tee piece through the blast hose and out of the jet .the pipe that goes in to the pot on the top equallises the pressure the valve under the pot just regulates the grit flow . as said in above posts leave the ball valve openthat is half way down feed pipe . if u get any blockages u can turn that valve off and on quick while under pressure.it sometimes forces the grit that causedthe blockage in the valve or tee piece to clear
