Blast pots, setting up / valves

What's the general sequence of fiddling with valves, when trying to get going with a blast pressure pot? Not really sure of how the bypass and the media valve work together, how you get them set right. Is bypass always full open, or .. ?

heres mine the one nearest to water trap presurises and used as a shut off tap the one underneath regulates the grit flow the one on the side pipe is left fully open unles u get a blockage in the pipe and u can shut it off quick which sends all the presure down through the pot and sometimes clear the blockage also a good whack on the bottom reg valve clears them

Main air inlet valve fully open, bypass fully open, nozzle valve fully open and adjust bottom valve until you can just see the media stream.

Adjust the flow by adjusting the pressure regulator, it's best to have one installed near the pot so the line from the compressor is at tank pressure.

Don't adjust the flow with the nozzle valve (if fitted) otherwise it will wear very quickly.
