Blasting media... Which type for these jobs?

Right, I've nearly finished the blast cabinet and I'm now thinking about ordering some media.

I have a few different jobs that need doing around here, I have some alloy wheels, steel wheels, brake calipers and a few other assorted steel items. I'm guessing I will need a few different types media for these jobs, what would you recommend? Also, what about grades? Initially I will be using a 20 gallon pot and it will have a 3mm nozzle, will be upgrading the compressor soon so I will be able to use larger nozzles in the future.

Hi Marc there is a great place in gloucester that supplies media, i was buying split bags from them for cheap and pound notes, lol, not machine mart either, pm me

I've just picked up some from Stacey Processing.

Recycled glass, 2 tonnes in 25kg bags for £170.

They only charge £36 for a pallet delivery anyway, they are in Derbyshire.

I only collected because I was sort of passing. Wish I hadn't because Sat Nav took me across the Peak District with almost 3 tonnes on the back.

If you only want a small amount I could probably sort you some out.

ive used glass for alloys and calipers turned out ok just dont use load of pressure on the alloys it will rip them apart meaning lots of filling
