Blasting Media

I am thinking of purchasing these to remove rust on those difficult to places on the l/rover.

I was thinking after reading the above is the grit safe to use....if you don't mind me asking?

That looks an expensive way to buy media, and the SB4 isn't up to much, the nozzles don't last very long.

I have a BHP12 with carbide nozzle from these people

It works very well and will last.

its only a suction gun there not realy much cop. a pressure pot is the answer a 14cfm compressor with a 2.5mm nozzle is the bare minimum and even there slow

Ive gone down this road of 14cfm but im only using a 5.5 petrol compressor with a 50L tank ....its just for the hobby not a profesional workshop.

Go for the tungsten conversion.

I've been experimenting with mine today, doing bits and pieces my 2HP Compressor was more than adequate, because I was blasting in short bursts.

What materal are you blasting?

Crushed glass.

If you're doing rusty steel then J-Blast Supafine would probably be the best. AKA iron silicate or copper slag.

Did you mean what is the workpiece?

Steel and aluminium.
