Blocking light from rear of helmet

I've come to the conclusion that my helmet issues (see thread 'recommend a helmet' ) are mainly due to stray light entering round the back of the helmet and causing reflections internally on the auto lens and my glasses.

Short of duct taping a set of curtains to the back of the helmet are there any more 'professional' aproaches to blocking the light?

duct tape a piece of leather to the top of helmet so it drapes down your neck

I wear a hoodie and put the hood over the helmet. I found it much easier to weld in a dark room.

use a piece of fire blanket. i have for reinforcing welding gloves!

there are clip on covers to go over the back of some welding helmets dunno if there is one available that is compatible with your helmet? clipping something on would probably be better than taping though..

i used to have this trouble with the sealey mask i used to use along time ago and the non auto ones before that, the speedglas don't seem to have that problem much, the body of the 9002 is narrow and the 9100 can be moved close to your face, so not much light can get to the lens from behind on those.
