I had bird boxes in my garden. I had blue tits and coal tits every year in the same boxes. I cleaned them out every year. The years I didn't clean them out they were not used but the ones I cleaned out were used every year. I had a wasps nest in one and had to burn the box as birds would not use it.

nice job but don't glue the lids down you need to have a look in in case theres dead birds or crap in and old nest to remove

Three more on the way , will secure lids with beeswax on a deeper rebate to make them removable , thanks fellas ,
