Bottle connection help

hi guys!

I purchased an R Tech welder a few days ago. It has the original regulator etc.
Today I bought a bottle of gas but the fittings are both the same as in both are males???? What am I missing???

Doesn't look like you're missing anything as such. Maybe someone will know of a suitable adaptor. Not all regs are the same and neither are the cylinder valves e.g. BOC argoshield needs a different type of reg to Air Products ferromax despite the gasses bring similar. Your best bet is to take your regulator to the gas supplier.

Hi ya,

The gas supplier is no expert I think so probably have no idea, they are a car paint supplier foremost.
Hope I don't need to by another regulator :0(

Which did you buy? is it 3/8?

Me? I don't have one. If you compare the details on the three options you should be able to work it out. It's not something I've ever needed to do.
