Been a few years, but here goes...
Turn PROG SEL to any number (not robot)
Toggle switch in PROG position
Each press of SEQ will move through weld sequence which is usually PSQ, SQ, WELD, HOLD, OFF, HEAT
Then use tens & units buttons to alter times
PSQ - pre squeeze = time to close tips
SQ - squeeze = time to squeeze parts together
WELD = time weld is on in cycles
HOLD = time for weld to start cooling (also known as forge time)
OFF = time before next weld allowed (used when repeating)
HEAT = weld current (normally a %)
Depending on model there may be H1, H2 (HEATs) or PULSE for various applications
Switch toggle back to run
Sorry no guarantees on the above, it's been 20+ years since I played with them
Found some info here to read and will have a look to see if I still have the schematics/drawings for the MP8
