Broomwade AC10 Dipstick Length

Hi There

I've just picked up an old Broomwade AC10 compressor in good condition but missing the dipstick. I can easily fabricate a replacement but need to know the dipstick length and position of high/low marks.

Does anyone else have one of these and if so are you able to measure the dipstick?

Does it have a bullseye / sight glass on the crankcase? If so fill it so it is 3/4 of the way up this!

If not, is there a plug on the crankcase, about half wayish up?

Length of dipstick from top of crankcase side plate is 7", low mark is 1" from bottom and high is 1 1/2" from bottom.

Yeah its great feeling isnt it, makes ya feel all wet and guey and warm but maybe that is a 'natural' feeling we all get as we get old
