Hi,
I've just joined up after a few years of lurking and it seems now Google can't help me anymore
I recently bought a Broomewade AC7 from fleabay to replace my old 1962 Atlas Copco PE3 setup.
I would like to know what speed the AC7 needs to run at please.
I have looked on here for info and guess around 650 - 800 rpm?
The PE3 runs a 1hp 2850 rpm motor with a 5" OD pulley to a 9" OD pulley on the pump.
The AC7 has a 9" OD pump pulley and I have a 1 1/2 hp 1440 rpm motor but no pulley.
The AC7 also has a pair of head unloaders and the pilot valve so I assume was engine driven at some point in its life.
I plan to keep this set up as well as the pressure switch to the motor but make it switchable to allow auto or continuous running.
Hope someone can give me a few pointers.
Thanks
