Hey all i've been around for a while but tend to just read all the interesting stuff and soak up all your knowledge, but it's about time a posted up something so here is my latest project:
I found this little gem on ebay and managed to win it for a tenner not knowing what make it was but it looked brittish made and was described as working order so couldn't leave it for the price.
the guy i got i from didn't tell me much about it other than he'd had it for 30 years and used it for occasional spray jobs and had used it just a week ago.
after getting it home all i could make of it was the data plate says it was tested in 1969 and made in great britain and the pressure switch was made by danfoss. it was looking a bit rusty and dirty so the next step was a clean and stipdown ready for a new coat of paint.
after i stripped the motors off and removed the top plate i found another data plate loose inside that looks to be from 1 of the motors that says its a broomwade model 2x1. after a bit of searching on the net it seems the motors/pumps are broomwade 2x1s but i'm yet to find anything about it as a whole unit unless it's custom made so any info anyone can shed on it would be appreciated.
so far i've got the receiver painted and the motors in bits being cleaned and soon to be painted and serviced before refitting, i'll post up pics once its all back together but for now here it is as i got it.
