am currently at college at have been doing stick welding with 6013 rods at about 120 amps, it was going well i had good flat welds and had passed 3 assesments, we had a 2 week holiday break and now back at college i cant get a flat weld they are all bumpy and raised what i am doing wrong?? thanks in advance

120A - but what size rods? 3.2mm? Try dropping it a bit to around 110A. If they're 2.5mm, then that's way too high, should be more like 80A.
Bumpy and raised sounds maybe like your arc length is too long, or you're struggling to maintain a constant arc length. Try holding the rod at about 60 degrees to the surface instead of 90 degrees so you can see the arc better and have better control of the rod. Use your other hand to steady the rod.
Then practice again and again, gradually increasing the angle until you get consistent welds with the rod at (or almost at) 90 degrees. You'll get there - it's just a matter of practising lots and lots

a similarish problem happened to me at a course,the penetration had reduced overnight
oil cooeld welder,and someone changed the electrode to a different terminal,reducing voltage

lots of people welding at the same time meant 120A was needed also
