Time to say hello for me. I'm an old Scotsman, now retired after spending a lifetime in the exhibition stand industry. Despite starting out as a lathe operator, I've picked up one or two other things on my way through life, reaching the dizzy heights of retirement, finally. Being Scots, of course, I'm not one to sing my own praises ever - but I am Scots...
Anyway, this is just a brief intro for myself. One final thing... my "name" here is actually the name of a brand of grappa that is remarkably drinkable. What we used to call 100° proof once upon a time, it is the grappa equivalent of a Laphroig - rather than the more usual Tesco stuff which is more like a Teachers equivalent. If you like a wee dram, try some - you will enjoy it. Really.
