Hide a tea light in the base, I am sure it will go like hot cakes.
I had to look again, had never scaled it against the skirting board and thought it was miles smaller , in one of your arty London shops that feeds the rich deco designers that would be serious money to buy.Behind the butterflies is the top off a full size argon bottle so there's no room for a tea light, it weighs a ton.

It's about 32" high. I reckon all together there's about 20 to 25 hours work in it so they'd need to stump up a fair bit.
I once asked in a little gallery/shop in Hebden Bridge what the crack was because they had a lot of stuff for sale that was in a similar vein to mine, I got told to send them a cd of my work and if they deemed it worthy of display in they'd only charge me 50% commission at them terms they'd need to stump up even more for me to make a profit.
That is about the norm, I was asked to supply some stuff to a shop once and they wanted 40%.I got told to send them a cd of my work and if they deemed it worthy of display in they'd only charge me 50% commission at them terms they'd need to stump up even more for me to make a profit.

Making 40%is fine if they buy thier stock. I am doing a bit of sales Into retail but the proper places want to deal on a price and be done with it. If they ain't got the funds let them swing because there ain't no way I am making stuff without payment, I think my suppers might fall off thier chair if I asked for the likesThat is about the norm, I was asked to supply some stuff to a shop once and they wanted 40%.
As a one off in a top of the range outlet where the designers search for the rare/different/unusual and special pieces, that could fetch a four figure sum quite easily, when I was in London a couple of years back I saw an owl about 2ft tall made out of cutlery and the price ticket was £2,950, a hedgehog made from spark plugs was if I remember rightly £1,400, small change to some people.
