Buying an Ender 3 V2... any advantage to buying direct from Creality or save and buy elsewhere?

The Ender 3 V2 has 10% off direct from Creality (ends tonight) so could get one for £198 from them, but (for example) Box.co.uk also has a 10% offer taking one down to £167.

Not particularly knowledgeable on electronics and stuff like this so wondering whether it might be worth the extra for support and peace of mind..?

Or are 3D printers these days pretty bomb/idiot proof?

They are a solid printer and I don't know what support you'd get from Creality. I'd go for the 15% saving option, unless the creality one included more stuff like filament.

Remembering that these fantastically decent value for money machines are basically a way of selling you plastic at £10-£20 per kg.

More than ten times the scrap value of aluminium, way more than brass or copper....

I bought my Ender V2 direct from Creality with some filament. As a FDM newbie it has been absolutely brilliant, minimal assembly then plug and play.
I've printed several rolls now including parts for an MPCNC build.
I believe there's a newer version now that requires even less assembly.

Creality are sort of responsive to problems. However they have the usual Chinese hoops to jump through, like demanding "videos" in response to any query. They did replace a glass bed that lost its coating, without much arguing.
