Buying tools I like the look of and most certainly don’t need…..
I saw a add for a set of wera screwdrivers that had a pouch of screwdriver bits and two handles..
They look lovely, to nice to use really.
I’ve more than enough screwdrivers so these ones might live in the sock drawer..

weri the screwdrivers we'd complain, tell you to put the rest to one side and use us as we're pretty damn good.

mine get used every day the phillips and pozi last about a year and there knacked .cost about 8 quid each . only use wera the bits for the leccy screwdriver i use dewalt get a box of em for 4 quid

Your sock draw comment just reminded me that I have a set of Beta extra long flat ring spanners under the bed…. Why I left them there (probably safe keeping due to the price!) and how long they’ve been there I can’t remember! What’s most amazing is that the wife hasn’t mentioned them; she’ll know they’re there, so I suspect she’s waiting for the right moment (like when she next finds a wheel bearing in the freezer!).

Only yesterday I acquired a newish looking Stanley Yankee 130b pump screwdriver, for a princely 50p at the scout hut jumble sale, not to mention yet another big G clamp, and a couple of pairs of pliers and side cutters, (all priced 20p each) which I've already got loads of dotted around the place.
Tools is an addiction

Good 'eavens no, I wouldn't have it any other way, and I now has the opportunity to spend more £ on evilbay buying some screwdriver tips for the Stanley yankee

I actually have a bunch of tools I don't use.
Some of them will surely be used a day...
Others certainly not
In this category we have a 1940's Fein drill and a same time period power tapper.
Bought them for YouTube but channel kinda die, I've lost the happiness of doing videos because the algorithm killed my channel
