Cabora pocket turbo but what amps????

I got a cabora mig welder from e-bay unfortunately i was drunk when bidding I have since asked the seller the ampage it goes to but he doesnt know only said 50 HZ and 240V on it.
Its a pocket turbo.
I hope its a 130 amp can anyone tell me if this is the case???

Hey Hobo,

Do you have a link to the auction page for the welder you have bid upon? If the auction has photos/etc. it could contain some clues as to the amp rating of the equipment.

A quick google for "Cebora pocket turbo" seems to return a lot of results containing 130A which could be good news for you - although this is certainly not conclusive and more investigating would be needed.

110 amps that fella. Assuming it's working, first thing change that rusty wire + the torch lining

Is it a 110? Not what i wanted but will do for a start and to work on cars i guess? Change wire and torch lining what would that roughly cost? will i have to change that before any use?

Yep, circa 1980's. Fine for car welding. Sub £20 delivered for wire & torch lining.
