Cad software for old mac

I need to get something like fusion on my Mac. Sketch up and librecad both useless. Can't get on with them. I want to draw a line and be able to hit a keyboard command and enter a dimension like in fusion.

I'm running sierra

Use parallels, which is a windows emulator for Mac, then you should be able to run fusion.

I had an old mac but I had to stop wearing it for legal reasons .

In fact you don’t need a windows emulator. Fusion is compatible with Mac.

Sierra is still a decent operating system. The comparable version is Windows 7 running on a 2.8GHz pentium.

At the time, people were desperately clinging on to NT or even XP to avoid the “dark ages” of windows.

FreeCAD is a very capable system being open source and (I think) comparable to Solidworks in how it woks. Not my cuppatea but I had a dabble when Fusion became freemium….

Not to worry. I went back to pen paper and a pair of dividers.

I thought doing this in fusion with sheet metal would be easy. It isn't.
