I have been given an air compressor but I have no idea what model it is to get parts.
Can anybody help in telling me what model it is please?

Which parts do you need? Engine...tank...pipework...valves etc? I'd have thought the info on the data plate would be enough to track the Clarke spares, I understand they're good at supplying bits.

Ring Clarks, there details can be found from Google.
Tell them what you have and the details from the Data plate and you will be away.

Machine Mart sell Clarks kit like that, if Clarks are out of spares MM may be able to help.

think its a bitsa, I believe the clarkes always had Honda engines

its a briggs engine and will have the model number on it for spares just google briggs spares. the pump is Clarke so ring machine mart spares up and give model number

That's the problem I cant make out what the model number is and I know jack about air compressors lol

It looks like an XPP15/50.

I think your spot on looking at it. It has a Briggs engine and 5hp

For engine parts just quote the engine type on the metal cover. No idea about pump parts but they should be available. The only thing I would definitely do before spending money is remove the end plug and inspect the inside of the cylinder. If there's flaking rust in the bottom have the tank wall thickness checked, it is 36 yrs old after all and you don't know how many of those years it's had a few inches of water in the tank for.

The pressure vessel tag says Year of mfg 1984 so yes.
