Can Anyone here print '.GLB' files?

The middle row seat back release hasndle broke today on my Discovery 2. Not apparently available anywhere however some one has uploaded a model to Thingyverse presumably for this reason.

I can't seem to find a way to print it with my Cetus 3D printer - can some kind sole print it for me?

It should be red but who cares - it's covered up !

I can print for you, but the .STL is included in the zip file you posted...
Got red Petg loaded atm.

That's odd - I'll have another look - I only saw GLBs when I unzipped it !

@tflnemesis this is extremely odd. I've extracted the zip on a Win10 machine and on a Win 7 machine and apart from the pictures I only got the GLB files and a text description.

What the duce am I doing wrong.

I may have to take you up on your kind offer to print it - especially as your are already loaded up with red petg - all costs reimbursed of course.

i see a glb and a stl file in the files section also. check the file before you extract it. your antivirus may be nuking it.

Ah - sorted (I think). Display properties was set to hide unkown extensions or some such tick box.

Now I see an stl file which I'll try snd print tomorrow.

So I loaded up some PETG and printed the STL file - two hours.

Looks pretty darn right EXCEPT that the individual elements aren't connected together - the sticky out tube just lifted off, and the three vertical sides and top just lay against each other and are not integrated.

I managed to get Fusion 360 to load up the GLB file and ended up with a mesh hoping that I could add fillets etc to hold things together but I don't seem to be able to edit the mesh. Google say Design -> Mesh -> Modify but my 360 doesn't give me the Mesh in Design . . argh !!

Any suggestions kindly received to keep me out of the loony bin !

Would a (zipped, extension .stpz) STEP file work for you?

A 3DP thing will be weaker than the orignal moulded item so add fillets everywhere there is clearance.

The uploader on Thingyverse has kindly replied and uploaded a slightly different version that sadly also doesn't properly fuse the tube to the body (where all the stress of pulling a cable is taken) He is currently travelling and thinks none of the files are his 'final version'. When he returns he's going to upload the version from the memory of his printer which definately will be his 'final' that he is using on his Disco 2

Given an original F360 model my approach would be to beef up a few places, add numerous fillets then ensure that the solid model use to generate the file for printing was all one integrated entity rather than parts just sitting adjacent to each other.

To the best of my knowledge, it is just an alternative binary, zipped version of an ASCII .STEP file. I was under the impression that .STEP files are fairly universal. The unzipped ASCII STEP file is nearly 4Mb, so too big to put here.
