can my sip migmate turbo 130 do gasless welding?

hi

i'm new to the forum so hello. i'm also a novice welder and have just bought a second hand sip migmate turbo 130 (see attached pics below). now i see that some migmate 130 can work with gasless wire, but i managed to download a manual and from what i can gather you need to be able to switch the polarity to use it with gasless wire - the manual covers various models so io'm not sure if i can with my model?

does anyone know or has got the same version of migmate 130 shown in my attached photos that can advise if i can use it with gasless wire as well?

any advice appreciated

That one is gas only, the gas/gasless ones are badged DP for dual purpose.
That saying, you could probably run gasless wire through it if you were desperate.

you do realise that, that thread is nearly 2 years old, I think it will be sorted by now

Depends on how big the restoration project is...... I've had the MIG waiting for the conversion (just so as I can say I have done it) for a similar length of time
