Can You Identify This Unmarked & Brand New Compressor (From Jawel Paints)?

These seem to be going very cheap. They are being sold by Jawel Paints (who are pretty reputable in the paint world), anyone have any idea who the comp could be manufactured by and crucially what the FAD is?

Looks very similar to the one sold by Aldi, plastics are a bit different but the pump looks the same. End of the day, they all come from China and get whoevers badge on them.

I bought one off them just after Christmas. It works, for £150 I don't think you can ask for much more! and I got it the next day.

They're a bit noisey, but seems happy to run continuously for for a good while without issue. I bought it to shore up my existing MM compressor to do a load of sandblasting.

Except you can get virtually the same thing from Aldi for £80 !! Well, you could last time I saw them.

my Aldi compressor isn't a vtwin its a single and not 14cfm either think its 9cfm aldi type

I've got 1 as a backup.

There rated as 14cfm by sealey but identical. Obviously they aren't however.

At 0psi to 30psi/2 bar approx, they will do 14cfm. They will do around 10cfm at 60psi/4 bar. Just 6 cfm at 90psi though. Anything over that i turn it off as they are hidiously slow.

I have it as a backup compressor on a 300litre tank though. To be honest, there good for what they are, fine if you want to work around 6 bar but a bit tedious above that. I did my tests on one thats 3 years old, but i doubt the figures have changed all that much.

Thanks for that Rick. I take it they are the displacement figures as opposed to FAD? Did you test this same no-brand one or a Sealey one? They do look very similar to Sealey comps in deed...
