I need to take the ball valves off my pot as aren't needed for my air supply set up.In fact can use them in the air supply set up. I got the first valve off without too much trouble. The other is a different story, I've applied quite a bit of force in both directions, no joy. The other valve had PTFE tape also perhaps thread sealant in one of the unions to it.
With this second valve I'm not sure in which direction I should be trying to undo it. I don't want to strip thread or bodge up the manifold pipes.
As I say I'm not sure which direction I should be trying to undo it.
See the attached, should it be A up with the spanner or B down with the spanner?
I've tried thinking along lines of right is tight and left is loose but I'm still not sure of the direction.
Cheers.
