capacity/cfm etc

I have someone interested in buying my hydrovane V01. He is wanting me to plumb it into a 200ltr tank and will be using it for zipping off lorry wheel nuts and for pumping lorry tyres up. I don't want to sell it to him if it won't do the job right and end up getting a phonecall in a couple of weeks asking for his money back. Would this compressor handle this amount of air usage? I know the max pressure and capacity are going to be ok but the cfm is a bit on the low side, think it is 4cfm

if it is 4cfm Simple answer; No

The 200ltr tank would be ok , but 4 cfm for a 1 inch drive air gun, no way. Most tyre company mobiles run a 23 cfm engine driven compressor minimum.

You might get away with a 14 or 18 cfm unit, but you would have to wait for the compressor to build pressure again and again.

thanks for the info guys. As I say I didn't want to sell it to him and then have comeback in a week or so, so I'd rather know now and tell him it's not suitable for what he needs it for. I know a lot of people would have sold it to him regardless but I would feel too guilty if I knew it wouldn't do the job for him.
