Hello ! My father told me yesterday that a valve at our irrigation system had cracked about 20 cm length and 0,5 mm width. So i decided to weld it rather than buy a new. The material is cast iron and as i found that it is called SG iron.
I bought electrodes for cast iron.Anyway,i manage to weld it,but electrode was sticking all time!!! Is it more difficult than simple iron or i do a mistake?
I tried 50 A,70A and 80 A. How will be good for 2,5 mm rods?
I used this electrode " Citofonte Monel SFA-5.15 : Ε Ni Cu - Β 8573 : Ε Ni Cu BG 2"
