Hi guys - sorry if this is in the wrong section, i have ZERO knowledge of welding, however i do have an issue that i believe someone here may be able to help me with.
Ive recently picked up a supercharger to use on an engine im building, however the unit came from a crashed vehicle and the cast has suffered a bit of damage. Ive contacted the manufacturer and they no longer produce the part, so it would seem that a repair is my only way forward.
As you can see there isnt a gaping hole in the cast, however the damage is significant enough to compromise the inside of the cast too. Has anyone ever dealt with a similar problem? Any advice on how to proceed with this would be greatly appreciated.
Finally the view from the inside.
