My dad once told me when i was very small that nawty cats had their eyes taken out and there was a man who'd put them in the road all by himself,tis true,my dad said so

Yes, parents have been pretty weird in the past.....some are still keeping the flame for the next generation as well.

However, if your Dad told you about the cat's, wouldn't you inquire where all these blind cats were ?
But, parents "little jokes" end up sometimes traumatic effects eh ?

My dad was the kind who would tell me in great detail exactly how they worked and who invented them etc. He loved being intellectually superior, even when we were kids.
