We've been pretty lucky in that we only ever have 1 cat near our garden, and its always just ran along the back fence and never come into the garden. However there is a new cat that's decided its rather fond of the garden, and shi**ing all over it. If it was only passing through, I'd care alot less, but having to clean disgusting mess up each day is getting a bit much.
I know there are all kinds of wives tales, coffee grounds as the smell puts them off, orange peel etc, then the more modern ultrasonic things that go off every time something passes them (surely Cats just ignore them after a couple of scares?), but does anyone have a legal surefire way to get rid or deter?
It looks fairly young so I'm keen to deter ASAP before it gets too comfortable. The couple of times I've clocked it, its always pelted it long before I can get to the hose to show it a bit of water so I'm in need of a more fit and forget solution... that or I set up camp in the garden itself...
