cebero bravo 155 electric supply

i just got my welder. a cebora 155 mig. max output 155 amps, single phase. im running it from a normal 230 volt supply in my garage. is that good enough.
does anybody know what i need to check in my house (like the fuses and outlet) to see if it is compatible. and exactly how make any changes if needed

look on the spec plate of welder or instructions . it will tell u the supply input amps

Hello Omkar,

you can run welders quite satisfactorily on lower current supplies than the maximum on your welder. It all depends on what you are welding. In other words the load on your supply varies by the amount of current you are working with.
If your supply is properly protected, all you will do is trip it if you exceed the supply rating? If you need to run the wleder on maximum then just uprate your supply to accomodate that.

first run on my cebora

i welded for the first time today with my cebora bravo 155. i first started by testing how the different wire speeds worked while welding and then when worked on power settings.

im using the bare minimum tension on my wire feeder.it feeds pretty well but slips at higher speeds. when i up the tension i hear a two grinding mechanical rolls.

is this sound normal?
