just bought a cebora 130 turbo at car boot (moment of madness) tried it wire feed ok arcs but poor weld and no penetration on full power anybody got any ideas what problem could be

sorry about late reply wire is 0.6 gas co2 and trial welds on 25 ml box wich ive just used to make rock +roll bed with my no gas clarkes welder . had side of today cant see anything loose but when switching between powers little arking behind switch

usually when diodes go they tend to go short circuit and cause the welder to buzz very badly, I would start with the connections to the torch and back to the rectifier even if they look good strip them and make sure including earth clamp (return) just because they look good doesn't mean they are, had a bad connection on a mig I had I could measure a voltage between torch and return but no power and it was down to a crimped connection

Check the contactor is ok and any connections, could be a dirty contact or loose connection. Also check the torch head my be loose there.
The Motor is fed after the rectifier off the secondary windings and switched via the torch feed, therefore if the wire feed is OK then the feed to the torch should also be ok.
the earth connection is via a choke and contactor, so those need checking. you should be getting 20 - 50 volts off the secondary winding depending on power settings.
A multimeter will be able to check the windings and diodes.
the machine is fairly simple so should be easy to locate the faulty.
