cebora 140A

Hi,
I have an old Cebora 140A. Not so long ago I was advised that I should go for a Euro Troch concversion (swan neck and liner probably had it; also the nozzle leaks gas after trigger is released sometimes).
However, before I go forward with this I would appreciate some comments on the suitability of this machine for car body work (1968 beetle). If its worth repairing I can do it and then start on the beetle - man what a lot of work.

The Cebora are one of the better hobby machines so it may be worth spending some money on it.. IF... it is basically sound before you start.

I am not sure of it's bottom settings so can't advise on car work suitability, 30 amps is about the norm, anything less is a bonus.

Fitting a euro torch, plus anything else it may require can soon add up, you may find it not much dearer to sell the Cebora and put money to and buy something like the GYS or a Clarke.

I use my BOC (Cebora) 130 for car bodywork and have a eurotorch conversion on it.
