Which transformer was replaced? Perhaps the small 27v AC one on the PCB?
Apart from the wirefeed not working, what about the other two functions needed for MIG welding, i.e. arc and gas valve?
The PCB has that small transformer, the wirefeed motor speed controller, and a 24v relay. It looks like the welder gets by with using that small relay to run the main welding transformer, there's no contactor.

Pretty obvious.......'still have' says it all
I purchased this mig some 12 yrs ago and it has never given a problem and was considering buying new again but they've stopped importing this model in NZ. After having transformer on PCB replaced (which looks like someone who has just picked up a solding iron for first time) I'll have to scrap it. Does anyone have any recommendations as to other suitable mig machines similar to Cebora 155 Bravo, I'm lost without it .....
Why?
Are you now getting an output from that small transformer?
When you press the torch trigger, does the 24v relay on the PCB operate?
Does the main welding transformer power up? Is there any AC and DC output from it?
If you extend the MIG wire from the torch tip and press the trigger, can you strike an arc?
If there is no output from the 27v AC transformer after you have had it replaced, I would suggest that you ask for that work to be repeated, successfully this time.
That transformer is supposed to supply "standby power" as soon as the machine is powered on. With no output from there, nothing more will work.
After rectification by the small black circular bridge rectifier on the PCB, DC power is fed via the torch trigger switch to the white 24v relay. This relay connects AC mains voltage to the main welding transformer. In addition to high-current welding power, the main transformer also runs the wirefeed motor, via the speed control section of the PCB.
