I have owned and used a 185 for over 10 years in the motor trade and we have only ever had to replace the rectifier and obviously tips/liners/shrouds etc.
The rectifier was readily available and was about £35 and was easily replaced.
I would definately buy Cebora again!.
I think mine is a 2000 model and workks great. I can't fault it at all. Just bought a 3 phase Cebora MIG 500, after information on the model, I think it was made in 2000 also?
Just picked up an unused Snap-on 185. I assume similar build. I thought I had a good deal. What are the problems with yours?
Not had a chance to test it but I will be working with CO2. I think it is a good machine! I cannot contain my excitement!
My 185 Boxer is a fantasic bit of kit and worthy, excellent machine for up tp 8mm. Had it cut out once for overheating. Otherwise can't fault it at all.
