cebora 260 fault, no arc!

Hi, posting this on behalf of a friend.

He has a cebora 260 amp mig welder and has a fault. It turns on + lights up, wire feed is fine but there's no arc. Machine is quite old but was working fine until a few weeks ago.

Either of us are clued up on the fundamentals of how they work but am willing to take a look, i know how to use a multimeter from working on my car so any pointers would help us out!

Tried searching but most are bringing up poor arc rather than none at all.

What model, most manuals and schematics are on the cebora site. Could be the contactor if it has one its basically a big relay that turns the welding current on when the trigger is pressed.

thanks for reply, not sure exactly what model, will find out. Will look into contactor though
