Please can anyone give me some advice on the Cebora Apollo 260 Mig
I am considering buying this machine for £478 is this good value? is it a reilable machine? how old is this type of machine?

Single phase 240v
Duty cycle 150A 100% - 190A 60% - 230A 40%

Cebora make good quality machines so no problems there.
No idea of it's age but I'd say it's a good few years old.
Price? Probably fair considering it's a dealer and they're offering a 6 month warranty.
What sort of stuff are you planning on doing with it?

Thanks for the reply didn't manage to get back on over Christmas.

I will be welding anything from car panels to bits of plate and angle iron but I won't hammering it as I don't weld for a job but would like it to have the power it needed.

At the moment I have a SIP 150 Turbo Mig which I have had for 20+ years but not using it now, one the wire feed only works when it feels like and two I have run out of CO2. So I am now using an old Oxford Arc Welder. I need to get a bottle of Argashield from somewhere.

I want to spend around £500 and though a second hand welder would but better value reason I was interested in the Cebora was the Duty Cycle there seems to be lots of high amperage single phase welders around for £500 but once you are halfway up the scale the duty cycle is only 25%
