Cebora Boxer 155 Twin

Hi guys i hope you can help with my Cebora Boxer 155 Twin.....the gas valve/relay is slightly stuck open.
i have wiggled the connections on the relay and tapped it in the hope to free it off but no good

have you guys got any solutions or do i need a new valve or relay??

This is indeed the gas valve. Sometimes they can be stripped and cleaned out, to remove muck that gets inside. Turn off machine! Remove the valve and wiring (make notes) Take off coil by removing the nut on top, then you will see the stem that houses the plunger that controls gas flow. On the top of this (usually brass) part is a silver part with flats. Grip the main brass body with the ports, gently in a vice and try to unscrew the top. It will be tight as it usually has sealant on the threads. If you can remove this, carefully take out the spring and plunger and clean all the parts with clean paper/rag. Very very slightly stretch the spring and reassemble - do not use any lubricant. Replace valve, noting arrow cast into main body that indicates direction of flow. Works 99% of the time for me.
Downside is that if you twist or bend the brass tube, you've had it as it will stick. We stock 230/240V gas valves with 1/8"bsp ports that will work in this machine. Good luck.

the gas valves that you have do they come with the brass tube?

Sorry for the delay, been busy! Our gas valves are complete and include coil, body and inlet/outlet fittings. £25.00 plus VAT including carriage. Remove busted valve, fit new valve, weld - simples.
