Hi all
Bought my cebora panther a couple month ago which had a slight problem where it didn't feel like it was welding at full amps on the highest power setting
The problem went away but I was welding some large axel stands today for use in a 4 post lift
Welding started off fine but then the problem came back, it feels as if the power setting has went down but it's still selected the highest setting (7)
I took some readings from the torch and clamp and also from inside the machine on the earth cable to rull out a bad earth, readings where the same inside the machine and wi the the clamp
Power settings - voltage reading
1- 18.2v
2- 18.8v
3- 21.0v
4- 22.5v
5- 25.0v
6- 26.8v
7- 30.5
These are all +\- 0.3 roughly
I've also took some pics of the inside to see if anyone can notice a problem
There is some surface rust on the lower part, I don't know the ins and outs of a welder and it's names lol
Thanks in advance
