cebora pocket 130 conversion to steel liner and euro torch

Revisited yet again.

Ok so today after Tig Paul kindly helped me sort out my spot welder, yes Paul it is working now thanks after 10 years of being in a cupboard dark and lonely . I went to my local welding supplies and asked for a steel liner to fit my cebora, i was told it wouldn't take it or fit !. Oh well. Guess he knows best, or does he ?.

I also got informed that my welder would not take a euro conversion by another person.

How much truth is in these statements ?, I like to be absolutely sure I am right before taking things to pieces.

Hi i had that mig and yes it will take a steel liner the shop on here sells the kit there is a liner in the torch too. The main liner normally needs trimming down but weldequp will have one with you in 2 days im sure. Not sure about the euro torch conversion maybe some one has done it out there never say never ayee.

you should be able to get a liner to fit, but if you still want a euro torch then have a look here:

Thanks All. I need a short term fix and so I will be trying to get a steel liner for it, in the medium run I will be getting a euro torch conversion kit, and in thelong run I will be getting a decent mig with a euro torch as standard. Sounds like a lot of faffing about but like many here being on social is not easy.

I just wish Jeremy kyle and his cronies could get it into their heads that not everyone on social spends their cash on dope or beer ! some of us spend it wisely and for the future. Mind you they would probably rant and rave I should not be saving to buy this either !!!.

Converted my Cebora to take a Euro Torch, was not as hard as I envisaged, mostly done from bits I had laying around the workshop, like the euro torch socket, I think all I needed to buy was a 24v gas solonoid/valve off EBay, best bit was having a welder with a decent torch rather than that cr-p torch thats fitted as standard
